Spotlight on Patton Oswalt
Though he is most well known for his comedy, Oswalt also has some strong dramatic performances in film. In Big Fan, he plays a deranged sports fan to a very creepy degree. He carries this thriller with an intense performance. He followed that up with the drama Young Adult, holding his own in scenes with Charlize Theron. As a high school friend, he becomes the voice of reason against her character’s delusions. His character gives the story an edge without losing the heart.

Lush, extravagant, gorgeous, and sumptuous. This clip is a perfect reflection of Marie Antoinette's legacy during her short reign as queen. Those desserts look absolutely divine.
Here in Northern California, we don't have White Castle. As such, I have never experienced the apparently glorious experience of eating their sliders. This Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle scene makes me lament that fact.
The milkshake scene in Pulp Fiction made me crave a delicious, creamy milkshake so much that we took a break to get milkshakes while writing this. Warning: this clip has strong language.
Not that we don't already always crave pizza, but this Eat Pray Love scene gives us even more motivation to go out for a slice.
Okay, yes, this scene from Matilda is supposed to be depicting a cruel and unusual punishment. But.... darned if that isn't the most intensely rich, moist, and fudgiest-looking chocolate cake ever.
For some of us, it's hard to find pasta this delicious even as free civilians outside of the clink. You can almost smell the robust sauce simmering in this GoodFellas prison dinner scene.
Willy Wonka and his marvelous chocolate factory are a sweet-tooth's fantasy.
Who knew seeing a rat next to your food could be so heartwarming? Ratatouille makes it seem like the most natural thing in the world.
