As a Millennial, I grew up with The Notebook. Imagine my surprise when my good friend Melinda Byerley, who is Gen X, told me she’d never seen it! I mean, really, this was unacceptable. So we made plans to visit the local Alamo Drafthouse together for “girlie night” and watch this movie together. Given that The Notebook is one of the most rented DVDs in the history of DVD Netflix, Melinda was curious to find out what all the fuss was about.
