All-time favorite movie?
Bringing Up Baby. It's laugh-out-loud funny!
What movie or TV show reminds you of your childhood?
Lassie. We would often watch it just before dinner when I was small. Or the Looney Tunes - we used to watch it on Saturday mornings in our jammies.
Go-to genre on movie night?
Classic film, almost anything pre-1950. A lot of films now seem as if they are regurgitating the same old things. In classic film, everything was new.
What movie could you watch endlessly?
The General. It is so cleverly constructed, has great gags, and is beautifully shot.
Favorite movie quote?
I love Sunset Boulevard because I am a huge fan of silent film.
We didn’t need dialogue. We had FACES.
Favorite director?
Buster Keaton, and my favorite film of his is Seven Chances.
Comedy scene that makes you LOL?
Too many to list - most are in the short films of Buster Keaton.
Best action scene that gets your adrenaline pumping?
The opening sequence of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is the kind of stuff they used to save for the climax of the film, and in Raiders, it's just the beginning!
Scary movie that keeps you up at night?
I prefer Hitchcock to graphic horror.
