My DVD story revolves around the movies you’d never suspect: the worst ones you can find. For years, I have hosted and launched what we call “Worst Saturday,” the place where we combine good friends, good food, and really bad movies.
Personally, I really love cheesy, martian/sci-fi kind of films. I also write about the best/worst movies on worstsaturday.com.
DVD: What is ‘Worst Saturday’?
Donald: It's like Fight Club for movies—without fighting and we talk about it. It’s a group of good friends who get together and enjoy movies that are so bad that they’re good. Sometimes we'd have a theme, or we’d do little games, or prizes, or trivia.

DVD: That sounds like an epic evening of movie watching! Where do you find the movies you watch at Worst Saturday?
Donald: I find a lot of the movies with DVD Netflix. There’s just a plethora of titles available. There have been times when I’ve tried to purchase a disc from Amazon, and it wasn’t available in the United States, and I found it with DVD Netflix. That’s amazing to me. There were times we had Worst Saturday because of DVD Netflix, and nobody else.
DVD: What are some examples of films you’d watch during “Worst Saturday”?
Donald: We have watched some amazing stuff during Worst Saturday.
