Hi, Debbie! Happy holidays! You added a wonderful addition to your family this year. He’s so adorable! I’m certain this makes the holiday season extra special for your family.

Thank you so much! We are overjoyed with our new addition! Jay Rock Sherman joined our clan in June and made us a party of five. We are having the best time snuggling our Christmas baby. A child’s first Christmas (and every Christmas after that, too) is so very special. Jay is discovering new things every day and I am always amazed by the true joy and abundance of love a baby brings to a family.

That is awesome. You’re making excellent memories. What is your favorite holiday tradition?

We have so many fun traditions in our family. We absolutely adore the holiday season and all that it brings: closeness, games, parties, bright lights and family traditions. We start off our holiday season every year by spending Thanksgiving in a snowy place with our family. This year we had the privilege of heading to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and it did not disappoint. All three of my kids had a blast in the snow. We also love decorating gingerbread houses, doing Elf on the Shelf and seeing Christmas lights around our neighborhood. I’m always looking for new traditions, so if anyone has one to share, please let me know in the comment section. I’ll be sure check in and read your ideas!

There’s nothing like snow! The children look like they had a blast and are so adorable. What’s your favorite mommy thing you like to do with them during the holidays?

We love to choose gifts together and donate to families in need. There are so many amazing organizations to choose from and they need our help all year so don’t forget to keep the giving going every month of the year. The girls give toys at school in their school’s charity drive and we love giving to our Light House Children’s Home family in Thailand. That is wonderful. It’s always nice to give back to those in need. So, what has been your biggest challenge this holiday season?

I struggle to get everything done! I fill my plate so full and with a new baby, time is fleeting for me. I’m trying my best this year to enjoy every moment and not get wrapped up in everything I have to get done. I must admit, I am not doing so great at this! Haha! I’m working on it. I’m sure there are plenty of you out there who can relate.

You’re an inspiration. You spread so much love and joy via your Instagram! So, let’s talk movies! As an actress, you know a great movie when you watch them. Holiday movies are the best! What are your top ten favorite movies to watch with your family?

Holiday movies are my favorite! I hope to film a holiday movie someday. How fun would that be!?!

  1. It’s a Wonderful Life (THE BEST)

  2. Elf

  3. The Holiday

  4. Love Actually

  5. The Grinch (with Jim Carrey)

  6. White Christmas

  7. Home Alone (my girls’ favorite)
